Returns policy

Industrial parts returns require review and written authorisation before goods are sent back.

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Request authorisation first

Contact sales@irefsupply.com with the invoice, part number, quantity, reason and supporting photographs where relevant. Do not return goods until iRef provides written instructions. The approved return period stated in the applicable quotation or invoice controls.

Return condition

Unless defective or incorrectly supplied, accepted returns must ordinarily be unused, uninstalled and in original condition with packaging, labels and documentation intact. Inspection is required before credit, replacement or other resolution is confirmed.

Items that may not be returnable

  • Custom, made-to-order or specially procured goods.
  • Installed, used, altered or damaged goods.
  • Opened electrical or electronic items where condition cannot be verified.
  • Clearance goods or items identified as non-returnable in the quotation or invoice.

Ordering errors and cancellations

Where a part was supplied as ordered but the buyer selected the wrong item, a return or cancellation is at iRef's discretion and on the terms of the applicable quotation or invoice. Cancellation of an accepted order, including any charges for goods already procured or dispatched, is likewise governed by that quotation or invoice.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Incorrect or transit-damaged supply

Notify iRef promptly and retain the goods and packaging for review. Do not install a part that appears incorrect or damaged. Freight, inspection, replacement, credit and any restocking terms are determined after review and under the controlling quotation or invoice.
